Oken

The ancient sages used to tell a story about a dry and lifeless planet called Shin.They say it remained like that for several thousand years until Ryujin, the dragon god and essence of the universe, spill a tear on this planet creating the first forms of life in Shin.

At first life was manifested only in small fireballs known as auras, but eventually, the auras began to combine with others, creating even more complex indivuduals that finally evolved into the life that now resides in Shin.

The sages say that the place where the dragon's tear fell is actually known as the heavenly lake, hidden somewhere in the forest of Ime, it is the place with the highest concentration of pure energy (auras) and the current home of the god Tatsu, a manifestation of pure sole aura.

But not anyone can go to Shin's heavenly lake, because its location is a secret very well kept by the head master of each village.These leaders are also known as Kai.

Each Kai is selected among the others for being the one who can hold the greatest amount of aura inside him/her, achieving with this, a spiritual connection with the god Tatsu.

The amount of aura that each individual can carry within itself defines the strength, the agility and the skills that it can achieve.

However, the intentions of individuals can turn their energy into negative auras.

The village of Lyhen is about to recive Ayami as the new Kai, giving her it the ability to absorb more aura than the others.

Ayami its an almost adult Tigress, sister to an adult Tiger named Oken,and both are sons of a family of tiger warriors.

Then a wolf named Blyth, takes Kai Sheo as prisioner and offers his life in exchange for Sheo to show him the location of the Heavenly Lake, Sheo cowardly accept Blyth's offer and reveals the location of forest Ime.

When Blyth arrives at the heavenly Lake, he was able to contact Tatsu and tried to absorb him fully, but, as Blyth's body was not strong enough to do so, he completely absorbed the soul of Sheo stealing his ability to absorb more auras that he could before.

Blyth was albe to absorb a small part of Tatsu and this made him stronger. Because now he was stronger than before, he began attacking the other Kai's one by one, absorbing their auras and corrupting'em all. Lyhen being the last town that Blyth attack was where the young Ayami had recently got the Kai grade, and not paying attention to this, Blyth corrupted her  and absorbed her soul as well.

No matter how hard Oken tried to save her, he was no match for Blyth.

Now after Oken regain his consciousness, he took his father weapons and left his land searching for his sister and for revenge all around Shin.

As Oken continues his journey through the lands of Shin, he reaches other villages which used to be inhabited and now they are abandoned and destroyed, also Oken can notice how each Kai of every village has been turned into demons.He fights'em all and release'em from their curse, so, in exchange for that, they give pices of information to Oken about where he can found the next Kai. Even tough Oken is not interested in saveing nor the kai's or villages,he has to do so in order to save and recover his sister Ayami.

After freeing every Kai of Shin, Oken reaches the Heavenly Lake and locate Blyth in it. Now with the help of all the Kai's,Oken fights back and defeats Blyth.

Tatsu, the ancient god of the Heavenly Lake is released from the body of Blyth. However, Tatsu is now corrupted by the evil actions of Blyth and opens a portal into the world of the dead. Tatsu then escapes trough it and Oken follows him. He manages to find Tatsu again in the world of the dead and overcome him, releaseing with this the soul of the last corrupted Kai, his sister Ayami.

But when Tatsu died, the portal started closing and oken had to make an enormous effort to clear his way back to the portal in time to return to the Heavenly Lake. Once back in the lake Oken sees how all the Kais are around the lake stareing at him. Smiling and clapping they began a ritual which brought many auras to the Lake and started to make an aura based kind of dragon.

At the same time, Ayami -Oken's sister which was unconcious - awakes and Oken lift her in his arms and holded her close to him while all the other Kais celebrated with'em. Then again, Ime forest begins to bloom and the auras begin to take new force in the world of Shin, slowly returning life to the planet.
