source vendor database centric report

Source Vendor or Source Database Centric Reports

Selecting the 'source report' option from the Select Report Type page presents the options for creating vendor and source identifier (sid) centric reports.

Option Name Option Definition
Report Type

Select the analysis to include in the report:

  • Elements: The values presented in the OpenURL request.
  • Patterns: The patterns used for the various elements in the OpenURL request.
By Source

Select the source type to include in the report:

  • Vendor: The name of the organization where the Open URL request originated (e.g. isi)
  • Database: The name of the specific product or application froma specific organization where the Open URL request originated. In most cases, the database value also contains the vendor value (e.g. isi:wos).
