Core Element Frequency Report

What is this?

The core element frequency report provides an analysis of the number of times a core element has been included in an Open URL string for the given source type (database or vendor) for the selected log file.

The report provides options for selection of core element to view,  time period and whether you would like to see the information at the database or vendor level.

This report provides the following information for the element selected:

- List of all source databases (labelled as sid -- should this be updated?) or source vendors (labelled as origin -- should this be updated?) for the selected log file.

- Number of total source openurls: The total number of OpenURL strings for the database/vendor in the selected log file.

- Number of source openurls containing the selected element: The total number of OpenURL strings for the database/vendor in the selected log file that contain the selected element.

- Percentage of source openurls containing the selected element: The percentage of of OpenURL strings for the database/vendor in the selected log file that contain the selected element.
