Eclipse Plugin doesn't support Scala scripts
Migrated from http://lampsvn.epfl.ch/trac/scala/ticket/2523
Reporter jlist
Eclipse plugin run Scala applications fine but gives compilation error for Scala scripts "Expected class or object definition"
Put a line in hello.scala
println("Hello")
This runs fine from command line:
scala hello.scala
but it doesn't run in Eclipse.

IntelliJ IDE runs Scala scripts fine. It would be nice to support it in Eclipse.

I'm working on something (the worksheet) that would address this issue as well..
The scala-worksheet (https://github.com/scala-ide/scala-worksheet/) should fit well for this type of usage.
