Currently one can just specify the main class the kernel executes. While this main class is intended to load an akka.kernel.Bootable implementation there is currently no setting that reflects on this. There is an easy way around, i.e. setting the main class to "akka.kernel.Main fully/qualified/BootableImplementation", but it is neither intuitive nor documented.

This ticket is about a feature request to add a new Setting, call it "distBootClass", and updating the documentation of the sbt plugin accordingly.
