Blank "Now playing" screen during playback

Running v1.15 the now playing screen functions correctly, any version since then only shows the progress bar. I have even tried installing on new WinXP box in case there were remnants of an older version causing issues.

Investigation of the log file supplied by the user shows the following playlists are generated and sent to the player:

At this point we see that the port numbers on both responses differ - one is for port 80, the other for port 8001. This is obviously down to the showcenter failing to send a complete HTTP request (which is a known bug). However, the code should use the previous port number that was discovered for this client.
The client details (from the log) appear to be:
