Do you use 3.5 as target? I get errors for ResourcesPlugin.getWorkspace().removeSaveParticipant(PLUGIN_ID);
and
ResourcesPlugin.getWorkspace().addSaveParticipant(PLUGIN_ID,
in ErlidePlugin, the methods take a Plugin as argument, not a String.

You have to set it as target - last submenu. The API stuff is osmthing different.
This explains why you got those APi-related errors, you can remove the api filters after that.
