Erlang import project wizard creates misconfigured project
Reported by user:
When I import an existing project into erlide and do not choose "copy projects into workspace" option, i was hoping erlide could build the project on the original folder. But it still create folders (like ebin) on workspace, I can not choose the output ebin to my original folder. So I am hope erlide can support in-place import.

Summary changed from ebin directory created in the wrong place to Erlang import project wizard creates misconfigured project

Confirmed the bug.
Importing a project in some directory creates a project with same name in the workspace, regardless of the "copy projects" setting. Any folders aren't detected if they are empty and not copied.
This feels like it needs more work -- should we disable it for the time being? I couldn't do anything useful with it...

I see the wizard uses some old way to store preferences, maybe that is the cause for the problems?
