Drop akka-modules
Akka Modules is just adding overhead at the moment. One build and unified docs would be so much easier. Modules that will be moved into core: camel, kernel, sbt-plugin, spring.
Modules that will be let go of: amqp, dispatcher-extras, scalaz. These can be taken up as separate projects by owners or anyone else that's interested or uses them.

Sounds good, it will definitely make the docs and project build much easier to manage.
I'll maintain akka-scalaz in my own github repo, but as far as publishing, would I be able to publish to the akka.io repo? Or should I set up something else?
I do use HawtDispatcher right now, but I think that will not be for long. I poked around a bit with using NIO directly and I'll be switching to that for my own uses as it really isn't that complicated. I think the only people that do use HawtDispatcher right now is for it's NIO abilities, and I can post a sample of using it directly if no one wants to maintain dispatcher-extras.

Cool. Will be really good to see akka-scalaz continue as a project. I'll be in touch about repositories as things will be moving soon to the typesafe repo.
An NIO example would be great.

I have updated my akka-scalaz repo to the latest from akka-modules:

Akka Modules re-merge is in 2.0. Leave the split for 1.2.

I think akka-amqp is going to move over as well because the camel support for amqp is not well supported?

I think it will suffice to kill the master branch and document in teh README that akka-modules is for pre 2.0 stuff only

My point is that we'll need it for the 1.x series anyway.
