Easy as 1, 2, 3. Seriously, setting up an Open RPG server has never been this easy!

3 Easy Steps

Here is how to setup an Open RPG in 3 Easy Steps.

Step 1: Run the Server (once):

This step is mandatory so the software creates the necessary Server files. Just run the server and quit. You don't need to start it or anything else.

Step 2: Edit the server_ini.xml file:

This part seems daunting at first, but it's not. You need to open the server_ini.xml (it's in the myfiles directory) file and look for these attributes. lobbyname, name, boot, port. Lobbyname is the name of your lobby, Name is the name your server, Boot is your Server Admin password, and Port is the port you will open in the next step. Just fill this in with anything you want. Make sure Port is filled in with a number though, preferably not 80

Step 3: Open the port:

Once you have set up all the Server details you will need to open the Port you have selected. There are too many options with this so I send you here: http://www.portforward.com , where they will guide you more accurately.

That's It!!

All you need to do now is start your Server! Could it be any easier? When you want to make advanced changes you can modify the Lobby_Message.html and the Lobby_Map.xml files
