Scala console does not update caret position
After each command is run in the scala interpreter console, the caret is positioned at the beginning of the next line instead of after the scala> prompt.
After looking at the source code I have a pretty good idea how to fix this, but I will need to set up a dev environment to check it out.

This feature is using the launch console from Eclipse, and it is a pretty dumb terminal. It does manage the position correctly as characters are entered.
Not much more that can be done there. An alternative is the interpreter view http://scala-ide.org/docs/user/features/scalainterpreter.html
