Setting up Maavis with other programs
Switch Driver
http://www.sensorysoftware.com/switchdriver.html
Guidance from Sensory Software:
Preset.ini is used for the custom settings that people create and these must be selected manually.
If you select auto detect, the program uses autobuttons.ini instead. This is normally pre-made by Sensory Software, but you can edit it in notepad. The first section of the file lists text from the Window title bar, followed by a comma, followed by a label. Further down the file you will see the labels, with the actions for each button listed below.
Setup file in: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Sensory Software\Switch Driver
Add:
undefined, blank
NAMEOFYOURPROGRAM, spenter
Spenter means: Space-switch 1, enter-switch 2.
Other options are: allenter, spenter12, mouse, spacetab, numbers
Crick Switch Box
Download USB Keys 2 if you don't have the installation CD with your switch box:
http://www.cricksoft.com/uk/downloads/updates.htm
Guidance from Crick Software:
USB Keys 2 recognises the application that is currently running and automatically sets up your switch box to send the relevant key presses or mouse clicks (if the application is in its database). You can add more titles to the database yourself, or update it at any time from www.SwitchIndex.com
