PHP4 not supported
Reported by Jeremy Flint @ MF
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '&', expecting T_VARIABLE or '$' in /home/.caradoc/jflint/barcampbirmingham.org/wp-content/plugins/wordpress_mobile_pack/plugins/wpmp_switcher/wpmp_switcher.php on line 300. Could we add a check on the PHP version and stop the installation if too old?

Milestone changed from Backlog to v1.1 - Bug fixes and WP2.8 compatibility
Status changed from New to Test
I believe the 1.1 plugin will work quite well on PHP4. Certainly all the obvious offending functions have been removed, and the fatal errors mitigated.
We do not warrant running on PHP4, but it may well work for most people. I tested it on 4.4.9 behind nginx/fastcgi.
So my new piece of code to check the versions is commented out... I've left in the one that shrieks about PHP6.
