Please describe in more detail, I can't know what is going on (which context). It works for me.
This is even more important because it's not an erlide problem and if it's a bug we will have to send it to Eclipse and they are really picky about the contents of the reports :-)

First od all, I open a file with emacs, modify it, close it. This file belongs to an erlide project.
Next I start Eclipse, open the project, click on the file. The editor display the following text:
Resource is out of sync with the file system: ...
Press 'F5' or select file > refresh to refresh the file.
Press F5 doesn't refresh the file;
File > refresh does it !

I wil take a look at this, but it is entirely inside the Eclipse code so we can only check if we don't happen to reassign F5 to something else.
I will also see if there is any open issue on Eclipse about this.
