Background

During April and May 2010, the original Scala IDE for Eclipse tickets (bug reports, feature requests, etc.) were imported into this Assembla site from the EPFL Trac instance

The tickets in both systems have the same ticket number (for #3329 and below).  Also, whenever possible and appropriate, comments, attributions, dates, attachments and change sets were carried over from Trac.

We were not able to carry over Trac cc: or owner information as this would have meant creating Assembla accounts for individuals who may not want Assembla accounts.

Reconnecting with your ticket

If you you were watching a ticket in the Trac system you can reconnect to it in Assembla as follows:

  • Create an Assembla account.
  • Check your email, and verify your account with Assembla.
  • At the top right of pages of the Scala IDE for Eclipse Assembla space you will be able to "watch this space". Do so.
  • Find your ticket by clicking on the Tickets tab and entering your ticket number (remember: the Trac number is the same as the ticket number in Assembla).
  • Add a comment to the ticket such as Please inform me of changes to this ticket or similar.
  • This commenting does not (as yet) automatically give you notifications.  What it does is notify the person assigned the ticket, and they can promote you from "watcher" to "member" and then add you to the notification list for the ticket.

Import code

The Scala code used to perform the import will be published in the Trac Importer space
