Generic Scala class causes errors in Java subclasses from presentation reconciler
In a mixed Scala/Java project, I have a Scala class:
and a Java subclass:
Now, although the project compiles without errors, I still get an
apparently spurious error, apparently from the Java presentation
reconcilier, in my Java class:
Can we get rid of those errors?
class Base[T]
and a Java subclass:
public class Derived extends Base<Integer> {}
Now, although the project compiles without errors, I still get an
apparently spurious error, apparently from the Java presentation
reconcilier, in my Java class:
The type Base is not generic; it cannot be parameterized with
arguments <Integer>
Can we get rid of those errors?

I don't think so. To me it looks like scala-eclipse not providing any scala to java mapping for type parameters.

This should be fixed in wip_experiment and eventually backported.

Thanks Eugene,
I'll not be able to merge/backport before next week. (I already have a backport in progress with lot of harder changes to backport (Symbol,...))

I cannot reproduce the problem on both 2.0.0-2.8 and master-2.10.
Work has been done on generic support in Java-Scala interoperability, this has likely been fixed during 2.0 development.
Please reopen with additional information if you still see the problem.
