Autocompletion error when using scala-libary.jar in an eclipse java project
When using the scala-libary.jar in a eclipse java project, the org.eclipse.jdt.ui.AllCompletionProposalComputer throws an exception in certain cases.
One of this cases is described below. The autocompletion works fine in other IDEs.
I will report this at the eclipse tracker too, because I don't know if this is a problem with the scala-libary.jar or eclipse.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new java project
2. Add the scala-libary.jar to the project (version 2.8.1.final)
3. Create the following test class:
package simple;
import scala.collection.immutable.Nil;
public class Test {
public static void main(String[] args) {
scala.collection.immutable.List<int> myList = new Nil();
}
}
4. Try to activate the autocompletion on the variable "myList"
Versions:
Scala: 2.8.1.final
Java: 1.6.0 (sun)
Operating system: MaxOSX 10.6.5
This is actually a repost from https://lampsvn.epfl.ch/trac/scala/ticket/4076. They told me to put it here.
Perhaps you can help me.

I tried to reproduce on 2.0.0-2.8, and could not see any error.
The code of the test case is not valid Java (primitive type as a generic parameter), and is not using Nil in a valid way, so content assist returns no useful proposals.
Please reopen with additional information if you still see the problem.
