ogr_csharp error
I have installed DNRGPS 6.0.0.10 twice and connected it to a Garmin
GPS-V and a GPSMap 76 Cx, but I cannot upload or download anything. The
window shows the unit is connected and the unit states that a transfer
was successful, but nothing shows up in the table. I only get the error
message below. Any suggestions?

Lots of traffic on that issue in ticket #135
This version of DNRGPS is not compatible with the Windows XP (32 bit) operating system. I ran it from a flash drive on that OS and on a Windows 7 (64 bit) machine. It worked flawlessly on the Windows 7 machine but threw multiple errors on the XP machine. Unfortunately, if I upgrade to Windows 7, I can only use the 32 bit version of it. Not sure what DNRGPS will do on Windows 7 32 bit.

Yes. This error has got me dead in the water, too, at least as far as the new version is concerned. I can still use the old version on another computer, which has ArcGIS 9.3.1. I'm just waiting on this to be fixed, so I can use it on my newer computer, which has XP64 and ArcGIS 10. Hopefully, the folks at MIDNR will get a chance to work on this soon.
Any chance of this being rectified, seems like this issue has been buried and hopefully never to surface again. By the way, installed win 8 pre release as a virtual machine and DNRGPS works perfectly, just hoping I don't have to wait until am OS upgrade to use this program. If there is anything I can do to assist in resolving this error, just ask.
I haven't had a chance to get back to working on this error. I've done a remote connect to a couple machines with this problem with no success. If I was able to get my hands on an offending machine that I could tinker with -- and potentially hose up -- I could get closer to resolving this one. Unfortunately, none of the 500+ users in my agency have run across this issue.
Try installing the 2008 C++ Redistributables. The only other person I know about that ran into this error on a Windows 7 machine claims installing this fixed his error.

We uninstalled everything, reinstalled the C++ distributables, then dnrgps. We get the same error. We have one Window 7 x64 that DNRGPS works on. The other three (one Win 7 x32, the other two are Win 7 x64 in a Windows domain) give this error. We are looking to see what is different.

At this point it sounds like just going to Win7 is not a fix for this.
