'Fresh actions' rename
Could 'Fresh actions' be renamed to 'Newest action'? (Can there ever be more than one?)

Yes, [puts on Christopher Lambert/Highlander voice] There Can Be More Than One! Ahem, sorry about that...
If you hit return after entering the details for the next action, you can type in the next one, hit return and so on, and the next actions collect in the 'Fresh actions' box until you hit return. It could be 'Newest actions', but one issue with that is that it also holds actions temporarily when you've unchecked a completed action on the main page (again, until you've hit refresh). Those aren't strictly new, but are updated/refreshed.
See, I do think about this kind of stuff a bit, even if my thinking is wrong ;-). But seriously, if you'd prefer 'Newest actions' I'm happy to change it.

mamster: Yes it is to do with Ajax. The problem with the home page is that you don't know until you've actually hit the submit button on a new action which div should be updated. It isn't possible to do this with the built-in Ajax helpers at the moment. Someone on the Rails IRC channel suggested that it could be done with a custom bit of Javascript, but my Javascript isn't up to much, and I couldn't get it to work.
So this is an interim measure: it isn't pretty, but it is simple and it works.

This is something I;ve been working on and asking about in the rails mailing list. Unfortunately mixing html and ajax code in a XHTML/ajax response is a little tricky at the moment. Probably requires some custom javascript.
I stopped working on it so I could finish the MU stuff I was doing. See http://api.rubyonrails.com/classes/ActionView/Helpers/JavaScriptHelper.html#M000400 for part of the possible method. Although this is a bit of false trail.
I'm reseting this to the 1.10 release, as I think its too hard to get into 1.04 which I think should be a test release for the MU feature.
