Updates to recurring to-do's not reflected on home page
When I create a recurring todo, all is fine and dandy. That is until I go back and edit the recurring todo - none of the changes I make seem to be reflected on the home page.
I'm running the latest 2.1.1 using passenger on Apache.

this is correct behavior.
Perhaps the gui does not make this clear. The recurring todo form is actually a form to define a recurrence pattern. From it a todo is created and put on your homepage (or tickler). When you edit the recurring todo, you are actually editing the pattern, not the todo that have been generated from the pattern. (still with me?). This was intended behavior because the generated todo may be altered wrt the pattern...

I don't think I follow you. Please explain "This was intended behaviour because the generated todo may be altered wrt the pattern"
I think the pattern and the todo should be the same otherwise it's just confusing. As it is, the original todo loses any changes to the pattern. But then there is no new todo reflecting the change to the pattern. i.e. In effect, I just lost the changes I made.
