Specifically we need summary Entity Summary Queries, with the ability to group on entity attributes:
For a entity model with:
Entity - Cases
Attributes - Status, assigned to, source, etc.
They want to do summaries like:
Assigned To
Jeff Emily Phil
Status: Open 12 23 1
Status: Closed 23 54 43
Status: Invalid 1 0 0
I think something very much like our existing summary query tool where the values option lets you choose:
Number of Entity type X; or
Number of Entities types X, Y, Z... (user selected) (I guess this option would then make all attribute group-bys invalid unless the exact same one exist in all your entities? We can discuss this if it is too difficult, I'm not positive if this is actually required.)
Group by options would be:
Entity attributes
CA / Buffered Management Area / Admin Areas / Management Sectors/ Patrol Sectors
Day/Month/Year
Entity Type (if we let them select multiple types as above)
Filter options on entity Attributes only I think.

New Entity Summary Query
- supported in CA Queries
- supported in CCAA Queries
- supported in CA Reports
- supported in CCAA Reports
- can export results to: CSV, HTML(Connect only)
Existing Record Observation Query updated:
- supported in CCAA Queries
- supported in CCAA Reports
Items not supported:
- there is no export/import query definition option for either query type
- queries are not cloned when a CA is cloned
Other items to note:
- in CCAA Analysis it is possible (if you have permission) to access the record related BIRT datasets (list all records, all record attributes etc). It is NOT possible to access Entity related datasets (Entity List, Entity Locations, Entity Records etc.)
- also the intel record observation queries have no filter options for the Record - it should be possible to filter on record attributes such as status, date or any of the custom attributes
