can't run maven builds commandline with ScalaIDE open

With scala+maven projects open in ScalaIDE, it is now hardly possible to do a 'mvn clean install' on the command line at the same time without getting lots of random compile errors.
Previously (ScalaIDE 3) this was not a problem at all, but now ScalaIDE seems to interfere during the build process. I consider this a regression.

I'm wondering if this is really a problem of Scala IDE. I noticed this problem on my second computer too. On my main computer it is not a problem (both run on different Linux distributions). As far as I remember the problem was that maven couldn't remove directories. Maybe it is even an OS issue.
