Cut and paste doesn't copy imports
Corresponding imports should be copied over when a code fragment is cut and pasted from one file to another.
Marking this as a defect, since an old bug report I found here suggests this functionality was implemented long ago.

Just out of curiosity, which bug report do you mean? Must have been a really old version of the Scala IDE, I've never heard of that feature :-)
