Spell checker shows underscore higlight on correct words (and scala keywords)

That is weird, the spell checker should not be enabled for Scala code. I'll have a look.

I have no idea how this can happen. Do you always see this behavior or only sometimes, maybe after a specific action?

I can reproduce it, but looks like there is not regular use case.
1. Open any scala file
2. Open the same file with TextEditor (usually i do this to enable showing whitespace characters)
Now if you open ScalaEditor with the same file it will be spelled wrong. Also after closing TextEditor file will be spelled in ScalaEditor.
I think that TextEditor should not affect a ScalaEditor, especially after closing TextEditor.

I suggest that you use whitespace characters in the Scala editor because it looks like fixing this bug is out of scope. It is a problem of Eclipse. When one opens the default text editor while another editor is already open, a new spelling reconciler is started - in addition to the already existing one. Another problem is that annotations are shared between open editors of the same file. Not opening multiple different editors for the same file is the thing you should do.
