One of the messages to the laszlo-dev mailing list was blocked by the Laszlo list moderator

Instead of answering questions by the community about release dates for the 5.0 release, Laszlo blocked my last response to the laszlo-dev mailing list in this thread:
http://www.openlaszlo.org/pipermail/laszlo-user/2012-July/008891.html
Here's the message I sent:
"That's true, but in CP's case I'd say it's Webtop and the Laszlo
customer base. Most of the manager and engineers who have created the
OpenLaszlo platform had left the company already long before the
acquisition."
And there's the response I got:
> Request to mailing list Laszlo-dev rejected
> laszlo-dev
>
> laszlo-dev-bounces@openlaszlo.org

I guess if you are not willing to answer questions regarding a 5.0 release of OpenLaszlo, you start trying to silence criticism by active committers by blocking their mail to the open mailing lists.

Hi,
FYI: I don't think they blocked your message, I did receive one last week or so that said:
"Half a hear has passed since the acquisition of Laszlo by CP. Is there any new or status update on OpenLaszlo or a posssible 5.0 release? Has anyone else heard something on the future of OpenLaszlo under CP? Thanks, Raju"
But I did not see a response from OpenLaszlo afterward either.

Oh actually, I see the text that it was rejected by a moderator so I guess they did block it.

If that's the new future of OpenLaszlo - instead of releasing software managing each message sent to the mailing list - I'm not surprised that it takes longer than expected to release software. :-)
But honestly: If they'd just learn how to communicate (maybe hire someone for marketing), the situation would be much improved.

To whom it may concern:
All my emails to the laslzo-dev or laszlo-user lists bounce, some of them are rejected without reason. Is that a new policy of Laszlo, Critical Path, the OpenLaszlo team, of an individual working for Laszlo or Critical Path?
I've been an OpenLaszlo committer since 2008, and if Critical Path has any interest in continuing OpenLaszlo as an open source project, you should immediately allow project committers to send messages to the developers mailing list without being blocked from the list.
