changing waypoint symbol before upload doesn't work in Windows 7?
On Wisconsin DNR machines Windows XP 32-bit I was always able to 1) load shapefile of waypoints, 2) Click on the column heading "Symbol" to bring up a list of available symbols, 3) Select the desired symbol for that set of waypoints, then finally 4) upload waypoints to my GPSMap 76CSx.
We migrated to Windows 7 32-bit. Now when I click on the column heading "Symbol" I get a forward-slash in the column heading but no list of available symbols. i can enter numbers in the field, but unless I enter a 4 or a 5 the symbol defaults to a blue flag. Both 4 and 5 result in a different symbol appearing on the GPS. Any other number I've tried results in a blue flag on the GPS.
what's going on!?!
Thanks,
-Joseph
