ArcGIS 10.1
It seems that after I upgraded to version 10.1, dnrGPS is no longer able to load tracks or waypoints from selected graphics or layers. It is also not able to send waypoints or tracks downloaded from the GPS reciever either. It just comes up with the attached message.
Thanks

Bill,
DNRGPS is currently not compatible with ArcGIS 10.1. A solution to this problem is in the works.
In the meantime, try this workaround:
To upload layers to your GPS, go to File --> Load From --> File. Then navigate to the shapefile to load. Use the Waypoint, Track, Route menus (depending on your datatype) upload data.
To download waypoints and tracks from your GPS, go to Waypoint, Track or Route (depending on your data type) and select 'Download'. Once you see the data has downloaded in DNRGPS, go to File -->Save To-->ArcMap-->File. Navigate to where you want to save the shapefile to, andbe sure the 'save as type' option shows ESRI Shapefile in the drop-down.
Good luck!
