Asif - Dumb Question

For purposes of the wiki, when you get the "Data not found" error message, what does that pertain to? Is there something the user must do before running the Visualizer if the data folder already exists?

or if the data folder doesn't have all the information for the app you are trying to run (for example you run the visualizer on HelloAUT and then data/HelloAUT/ doesn't have the EFG, GUI files etc
The obvious case for data not being there is if the ripper wasn't run or was killed before it could rip the app
If they ran all the steps (setup-tools, build, run) the data should be there and they should be able to run the visualizer
I think your question also goes with what Professor Memon was saying about what should the user do if they don't wanna run the ripper but see the visualization.
So what they should do in the case that they don't wanna run the ripper but just see a demo of the visualizer
after they run ./setup-tools.sh
do
cp -R data guitar/dist/guitar/
to copy the preloaded data folder (included in android folder) to guitar/dist/guitar directory
then the user can follow from step 2 to see visualization for a pre-loaded app
So basically these commands
cd guitar/dist/guitar/jars/guitar-lib
java -jar gui-visualizer-adr.jar <app name>
Let me know if that answers your question.
