Vertical Slice video -
Part 1, bottom half of the page - Screen grab with Quicktime Player.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clpw4rW0oMM&feature=youtu.be
Problems solved:
Cat speed and jump height are good.
Dog speed is right.
Jump-through solid objects works.
Remaining issues:
1. Cat falls from bin when other cats appear, rather than getting knocked off. Collision event + projectile sprite to solve.
2. Dog doesn't have limited track back. Need to insert if o_char is > on X-axis then dog reverses horizontal direction for set time before reversing again.
3. Need to separate timing on bin cats of same size. Two separate objects with two separate timers, yet being triggered at same time. Confusing.
4. Need to fine tune bin jump through. Currently there is a slim chance that cat can get stuck if he enters at an exact angle as bin cats disappear.
Possible issues - Need to discuss highscore and lives display. Do we keep the original method of displaying on wall ?
