So folks,
I am out Friday for a District meeting. Patrick I expect you to work ....
1) Work on/Turn in any assignments that you have not turned in-- look at schoolloop to see what is missing
2) Continue working through the first part of the GWT tutorial we started Wednesday -- Christian can help
Also, could you do the following if you are working on a windows machine in the room:
1) Download and put latest eclipse on your machine.
2) In the eclipse folder there is a file called eclipse.ini -- open it in Notepad, add these lines, save it:
-data h:\workspace <-- you have to be logged in with your account for this to work
-plugincustomization h:\plugin <-- again you must be logged in as your account for this to work.
3) Create folders named "workspace" and "plugin" in your home folder(h:\)
4) open eclipse and it should open with your h:\workspace as the default workspace
5) Re-install the GWT plugin for the latest Eclipse --> I think the plugin customization will be saved to your h:\plugin folder and then we
won't need to re-install GWT each time we login. If not we'll try setting the plugincustomization flag to the c:\
If you are not logging in with your account please tell me why and what the problem is so I can contact technical support for the district.
The reasons might be:
- forgot password
- don't know username
- takes forever to login
- won't login
All these can be fixed quickly.
I don't expect any problems. Work appropriately and we'll get back to building our skills next week.
Thanks,
mm
