Multi Image stats in TRI2.5.1.x and 2.5.2.x
Posted by paulbarber on 2011-11-11 00:30
Hi,
There was a bug that created strange modal values and frequencies in these versions (the newest after the port to FreeImage).
Corrected in 2.5.3.1
SD and SE values may also be slightly different to older versions.
Paul.

Multi-image stats uses the data within the current min and max scales values to calculate statistics.
Most of the checkboxes in the multi-image stats panel are used to automatically rescale the images:
normalise will ensure that ALL data is included.
You can choose to ignore -ve values (some values are flagged is not valid with a -1, i.e. FLIM tau's)
You can choose to ignore zero, if your background is zero this will easily threshold it out.
Of course you can set image scales before using multi-image stats. Setting manual scales allows you to threshold a non-zero background or excluded outliers that fall outside a given range.
