editor shows problem while project view correctly shows none
Developing a small scala-play app, I write a small controller that renders some html; there is a play server started on the app and the app is open in Eclipse too; at some point, although the scala code compiles and works (I can see expected results in the browser), the editor reports a problem; the project view does not report any problem (which is actually correct). A screenshot attached.
The tooltip -- doesn't show on the screenshot -- says: "not found : value Html"

I just tested that and it works fine. I've followed Play! instructions to install Play! with scala and generate the Eclipse files. Once the environment is correctly set-up, then just execute the command
and open the browser with `http://127.0.0.1:9000/`
This action will generate some scala files that need to be added in the source Java Build Path or you will get compilation issues. Here is a stackoverflow thread discussing exactly this point. Please let me know if you still experience this problem or I'll invalidate this ticket.

Ok, now I was able to reproduce it for a simpler example.
I believe this problem is likely to be related to #1000434, whose cause has been found (AJDT bug).
package controllers
import play._
import play.mvc._
object Application extends Controller {
import views.Application._
def index = {
html.index("Your Scala application is ready!")
}
}

Actually, this is likely to be related to #1000439, as the files generated by play have a package declaration that does not match their phisical location.

We are actively working on making akka-actor project working in the IDE. If you want keep track of current reported issues take a look at #1000639. Please, if you find other issues make sure to report them. Also, when creating a new ticket it is important to provide a precise description of the steps needed to reproduce the problem and any needed source (and/or dependency), as this makes it a lot easier to sport the bug and have a fix for it.
