RSS video playback on linux
From the forums:
Hi guys,
The problem you described is not a bug, but it has to do with the way SwissCenter icw Apache deals with the various media files. While audio and photo are streamed through '/stream.php', video files are streamed directly from the server.
If you use Apache (in stead of Simese) all files directly streamed from the server are symlinked in directory '/media'. So, if you video file is not symlinked in this directory it won't play. This applies also for your video RSS feeds.
To solve this issue, simply enter the path of the cache as media locations of the SwissCenter config screen and, voila, the video RSS streams work. Pls note that not all formats may be supported by your mediaplayer. In this case you'll get a notice.

Is there maybe a more elegant way to deal with this?
