Entering /* to begin a multiline comment causes further input on that line to be blocked

So if you type:
/*
and then try to top more the cursor just blinks. It looks like maybe it is inserting the typed text then erasing it.
The workaround is to start multiline comments with a single line comment, and then delete the single line comment after the */ to close the multiline comment has been entered.
This is happening in B5 on Eclipse 3.3 running on Windows XP. I haven't tried B5 on Linux yet.
