When creating a file package1/TestPackage.scala pasted bellow that creates code that goes in other packages the code is compiled and executed but debugger doesn't find the source and neither respects the breakpoints.
If there is a convention (as explained in #1000042) that makes this impossible shouldn't a warning be issued at least? This will save a lot of time for users unknowingly being affected by this for which everything compiles.
The same issue might trigger similar bugs #1001760

package package1
object TestPackage {
def main(args: Array[String]): Unit = {
package1.package2.OtherPackageInWrongFolder.execute()
}
}
package package2{
object OtherPackageInWrongFolder{
def execute() = println("test")
}
