According to the http://scala-ide.org/docs/current-user-doc/features/typingviewing/javadoc.html page:
"When hovering on a Java element, the javadoc view, if you have it open, will show you the documentation for it."
I couldn't get this to work, see attached images.
I tried it with both a fresh install of Eclipse + Scala IDE plugin and with the Scala IDE bundle.
