I don't want it folding class comments, but it folds them when the class is the first in the file. I can stop this by unchecking "Header Comments" under Preferences > Java > Editor > Folding, and that leads me to believe that ScalaIDE is misidentifying a class's comment as a header comment, when the class in the first in the file. For example, this code:
That comment is always folded when I open the file. I believe this started when updated to 4.0.0, but I'm not sure.
package foo.bar
import java.util.ArrayList
/** one
* two
* three
*/
class Thing
That comment is always folded when I open the file. I believe this started when updated to 4.0.0, but I'm not sure.

@rob.nikander It works as expected for me using the latest 4.0.0 nightly (see the folding.png image I just attached to this ticket). Can you try to create a new workspace and see if you still see this issue.

You're showing C/C++ preferences. By accident? What does it say under Java/Editor/Folding?
@rob.nikander Totally by accident, thanks! And I could reproduce the faulty behavior, so ticket Accepted! :-)
