If JDT weaving is not enabled (for whatever reason), the Scala build compiler also does not run. This seems to be at odds with the Eclipse builder architecture (which allows arbitrary user-defined builders). I need to investigate, but I strongly suspect that there is an unnecessary dependence on weaving in this situation.
