Is this for 2.0 only or is it backported into 1.2, Roland?

It sure would be good to have, and I can have a look, but I don't have much experience with the old logging in akka-remote and I'm a bit constrained at the moment … life is not always easy ;-)

How big are the changes in this area wrt. possible logging in 2.0 anyway?
