The intention was to change def apply[T <: Actor: ClassManifest]: Props to have parens, but this conflict with def apply(): Props.

OK, I think we just should get rid of the def apply(): Props which just returns the default, because the default is already a public val. Then we can add parens to def apply[T <: Actor: ClassManifest](): Props.

Any chance that the branch issue-2076 will be merged soon?
