GENERAL
GLOBAL SETTINGS
SHOW TIME PANEL:
Enables or disables the time and date panel from the home screen and any other screen that uses the panel.
ZOOM ANIMATIONS:
If enabled, any zoom effect in showmix will use an animation to fade the zooming. If disabled, you will not see it animated.
KIOSK MODE:
If any other person than yourself is using your remote (doh!) to navigate around showmix, it can be wise to turn kiosk mode on. That way, the vertical menu cannot be accessed anymore unless you turn off kiosk mode again.
LARGER KEYBOARD/NUMERIC KEYPAD:
This option will enlarge the virtual keyboard that is displayed when you can type in something. Useful if you are in a typical "10 feet away from my tv" situation.
DEVELOPER MODE:
This enables additional skin informations that will be displayed onscreen while running xbmc. Most likely you don't need that feature so have it disabled in general.
