Ovenfreak is a Python wiki. A minimal wiki that encourages hacking. A minimal wiki that runs on FastCGI and mod_python and mod_wsgi without any frameworks. You need it.
As of Leopard, I am officially competing with Apple.

Did I mention that it powers the National Enloe Mathematical Olympiad website? It does.
Why, Super-Programmer, Why?
- I wanted to learn Python. I did.
- MoinMoin is too big for the end-user to hack on.
- The Python wiki market is pretty small.
- I'm awesome, therefore everything I produce must be awesome.
Features
- Works on shared hosting without any frameworks installed. All it needs is mod_python or FastCGI; Python 2.4 or above; and tender love.
- Easy integration with sexy text filters like Markdown, SmartyPants, and Textile
- Markdown/!SmartyPants included and used by default
- Modular, elegant code that's perfect for hacking
- Dead-easy template system that uses Jinja2
- Alternatively, you can replace it with other templating systems like Genshi or Mako
- Some say "Damn fast." Others, "What just happened? It was so damn fast I didn't see."
- Small and sweet and open to suggestions
Coming Up
- Tracking history with modular database layer (MySQL and SQLite planned)
- Talk pages
- A metadata system
- Edit previews
- What else? File an issue and let's talk.
Goals
- Encourages self-customization through a plug-in system built atop a marvelous langauge
- Modular and loose, like my women
- No crying
