Assembla FAQ and Documentation

Publishing your profile allows employers and managers to find you on the Assembla network and invite you to apply for jobs. Anyone can join Assembla, create an account and then publish their profile.

Assembla shares a number of characteristics with social networks like LinkedIn and FaceBook. The more complete and descriptive your profile is, the more “active” it looks… increasing the likelihood that someone will recruit you to join their team.  Once you are on a project, you will “meet” people who may recommend you to another project.

To publish a provider profile:

1. Register for an Assembla account.
2. Complete your profile.
3. Enter skills and upload resume.

Note in all the information on your profile and skills, you can choose with whom you are sharing that information, with nobody, with your team, or with the public.
