Assembla FAQ and Documentation

Assembla is fairly sophisticated and complex in how it supports workflow, but the navigation of the application itself is fairly simple because the Assembla interface is designed to be compatible with mobile devices. Whether you access the pages via a web browser on your desktop or a mobile browser on your phone, you will see the same information.

Your Personal Space

When you login, Assembla displays your personal space open to the Start page. The tabs displayed in this area allow you to manage your account, profile, workspaces and billing. The following sections describe the functionality

Start

The Start page provides a summary of all activities in all Assembla spaces of which you are a member.

The panels on the Start page contain the following information:

• My spaces - A summary of all the spaces of which you are a member.
• Recently visited spaces - A list of spaces you have clicked through recently.
• Assembla Instant Messaging - A history of recent chat messages made via a Jabber client on the Assembla server.
