Hello,

if you are interested in teamwork, this scientific study may be of great value to you.

Here's a short summary:

This study uses an organizational psychology lens to gain a fundamental understanding of how Agile
Practices influence sociopsychological
mechanisms leading to more effective projects. The theoretical
framework of this study is based on a causal model of teamwork derived from innovation research
with the major constructs of coordination capability and knowledge growth. We will investigate the
impact of Agile Practices on these constructs through the mediation of adaptivity and wellresearched
teamwork variables such as participative goal setting, goal commitment, cohesion,
performance feedback, social support and communication. We will then determine the impact of
these constructs on project effectiveness. In addition, we will analyze the moderating effect of team
autonomy on the relationship between coordination capability and effectiveness. The quantitative
field study is planned for end of October 2008 and targets a sample size of 120 agile projects.
