How to Install MadSwatter?

MadSwatter is a Firefox addon. It is packaged as a XPI file that Firefox can install it from Internet directly.

Create XPI

  1. hg clone http://hg.assembla.com/MadSwatter MadSwatter
  2. cd MadSwatter
  3. hg archive ../MadSwatter-dist
  4. cd ../MadSwatter-dist
  5. zip -r ../MadSwatter.xpi *
  6. You have a XPI file for MadSwatter, now!

Install XPI

  • Open XPI file with Firefox 3.0+, or
  • click a link to XPI file on an WEB page,

then installation is started automatically.
