Does your phone ever go off in class? Is it embarrassing when everyone turns to look and the professor gives you that evil stare? Well to prevent these embarrassing moments from happening, we created GQuiet, a mobile device application that would automatically change your phone's ringer settings before class starts.
The GQuiet application is based on Android, a mobile device platform, developed by Google and the Open Handset Alliance. The Android platform allows using the features of a cell phone along with advanced technological capabilities such as a GPS, internet, and access to your Google Calendar.
Instead of having to manually turn the phone silent during an event then remembering to turn the sounds back on, GQuiet is doing all of that for you. All you have to do is enter your schedule once and forget about it - Your phone will change to the selected ringer setting at the right time!
GQuiet is an incredibly useful to anyone who has recurring events such as classes or weekly meetings. Currently, no other cell phone application has the capability of being set to silent at certain pre- defined times. You'll never need to worry about turning your phone silent again because GQuiet will do it for you!
