A long long time ago, a civilization of gigant aliens made a stop at planet Earth, in their way to a country much more richer and interesting than ours. As they have some spare time, they raised piramids, they celebrated a ritual dinner where today we know it as Stonehenge and they gave aztecs knowledge they spare. (El dorado, Atlantis, the Bermuda Triangle and so are all lies)
They also left something at Python's Island, inspired by the human figure. They made a metal toy and they painted the construction's manual at the walls of the only cave in the island.

Hace miles de años, una civilización de gigantes extraterrestres hizo una parada en la Tierra, camino a un planeta mucho más rico e interesante que el nuestro. Como les sobraba algo de tiempo, levantaron pirámides, celebraron una cena ritual en lo que hoy conocemos como Stonehenge y regalaron a los aztecas algunos conocimientos que les estaban sobrando. (Eldorado, la Atlántida, el triángulo de las Bermudas y estupideces como esas son puro cuento.) También dejaron huellas en la isla Python [cambiar nombre]: inspirados en la figura humana, fabricaron un muñeco de metal y pintaron en las paredes de la única caverna de la isla el manual de instrucciones de su creación.

Many years later, the drought brought hunger and chaos to Python. There was a revolution. There was a counter revolution and afterwards an counter counter revolution. The little island first divided in two, later in four and finally in seven areas in conflict. The great Robo-T2, who in the beggining was a religious symbol, later became an emblem of unity and it finally turned into a tourist attraction. As Túpac Amaru II, it was dismembered without anyone knowing why.


Miles de años después, la sequía trajo hambre y caos a Python. Hubo una revolución. Hubo una contra revolución. Hubo una contra contra revolución. La pequeña isla se dividió primero en dos partes, luego en cuatro y finalmente en seis territorios en conflicto. El gran Robo-T2, que primero fue el símbolo religioso de la isla, luego un emblema de unión nacional y finalmente el principal atractivo turístico, fue desmembrado como Tupac Amaru, sin que nunca nadie supiera para qué lo habían hecho.

Mentor: Finally! 50 years locked up in this cave was worth it! I have deciphered aliens' message! Everyone who said I was crazy will realise that I was right! Robo-T2 was not a useless piece of metal, it was alive! Well, at least I know how to make it move. The big mistery of Python's island was solved thanks to me. TO ME, LOL!



Mentor: ¡Al fin! ¡Cincuenta años encerrado en esta cueva dieron sus frutos! ¡He descifrado el mensaje alienígena! Todos los que decían que estaba loco ahora verán que tenía razón: Robo-T2 no era una pirámide de acero incandescente, ¡tiene vida! Bueno, al menos sé cómo hacer para ponerlo en movimiento. El gran misterio de isla Python se ha resuelto gracias a mí, a mí, jajajaj...

Player: Congratulations, Master. I must tell you I didn't belive you could.

Protagonista: Felicitaciones, maestro. Debo decirle que algunas veces yo también tuve dudas.

----------

Mentor: Once again with that Master thing? Uncle Carl, I've told you hundred of times that you should call me uncle Carl.

Mentor: ¿Otra vez con eso de Maestro? Tío Carl, te he dicho miles de veces que me llames tío Carl.

Player: Sorry, uncle Carl. I still don't understand why you have called me. Five years ago you told me not to enter this cave until I was able to hold a flashlight.

P: Perdón, tío Carl. Pero aún no entiendo por qué me ha mandado a llamar. Hace cinco años me dijo que no volviera a poner un pie en esta cueva si no era capaz de sostener bien una linterna.

Mentor: I know, but even so you are still my nephew. I need your help to bring Robo-T2 and make it move.

M: Lo sé. Pero aún así eres mi sobrino, cuento contigo para que me ayudes a traer a Robo-T2 y ponerlo a andar.

Player: Bring it from where?

P: ¿Traerlo de dónde?

----------

Mentor: From the museum! where else?

M: Del museo, ¿de dónde va a ser?

----------

Player: They burned down the museum, uncle and Robo-T2's parts are distributed all over the island.
P: Quemaron el museo, tío, y las piezas de Robo-T2 ahora están repartidas por toda la isla.

Mentor: Then you should call the authorities so they gather them.
M: Entonces debes llamar a las autoridades para que las reúnan.

----------

Player: But uncle, there are no authorities.
P: Pero tío, ya no hay autoridades.

----------

Mentor: Then locate the cientifics' community and--
M: Bueno, localiza a la comunidad de científicos y...

----------

Player: They were all murdered, uncle. You are not dead because they forgot you were here.
P: Los mataron a todos, tío. Tu te salvaste porque se olvidaron de que estabas aquí encerrado.

Mentor: Oh, then we should call my wife. She would know what to do, she always does.

M. Oh, entonces habrá que llamar a mi mujer, ella sabrá qué hacer, siempre sabe qué hacer.

Player: Uncle, I had tried to tell you, uncle Clarice passed out 15 ago. She died of hunger.
P: Tío, he intentado decírtelo mil veces, tía Clarice murió hace quince años, de hambre.

Mentor: What a pity! Then we are alone and we must do something. We have to gather the parts. The future of this island depends on making Robo-T2 work.

M: Una pena, entonces somos solo tu y yo. Debemos hacer algo. Hay que reunir las piezas sea como sea, el futuro de la isla depende de hacer funcionar a Robo-T2.

Player: ? (WTF!)
P: ¿?

----------

Mentor: If there are no authorities, no cientifics, and Clarice is dead, someone must take some responsability, don't you think?
M: Si no hay autoridades, ni científicos, y Clarice está muerta, alguien va a tener que poner un poco de orden, ¿no te parece?

----------

Player: But uncle, why do you think that robot could save this island?
P: Pero tío, ¿por qué supones que el robot podría salvar la isla?

----------

Mentor: Elementary, my dear Watson! No one would design a robot to leave it still decorating the horizon. We still don't know what it is capable of, but we can image it! Maybe it will turn us into an important country, maybe everyone will praise Robo-T2's power. Maybe it will bring peace.
Who knows? Once it was useful for people to stare at it as idiots but we can't know for sure until--

M: Elemental, querido: nadie diseñaría un robot para que se quede quieto decorando el horizonte. Aún no sabemos qué es capaz de hacer, pero podemos imaginarlo... Quizá nos convierta en una potencia, quizá todos nos reverencien por temor al poder del Robo-T2, quizá pacifique a la isla, alguna vez sirvió para que todos se quedaran mirándolo como idiotas... pero no podremos saberlo hasta que...

Player: I know, uncle. Until parts are gathered and we make it work.
P: Ya sé, tío, hasta que juntemos las piezas y lo pongamos a funcionar.

Mentor: Exactly! I already did my part, now it's your turn. The future of Python is in your hands...
M: ¡Exacto! Yo ya hice mi parte, ahora es tu turno. El futuro de isla Python está tus manos.
