Define and Connect to a TMC Server
To connect to a TMC server, the server must be created and its connection parameters must be specified. On the main toolbar, click File/Servers/New.
The foundation necessary to enable the operator client to simultaneously login to multiple TMC servers has been constructed. However, there are numerous issues that need to be addressed before it will be completely functional. Until the simultanous-login functionality is fully baked, it is recommended that only one server be defined.
Open an Existing Map Set
Select File/Open from the main toolbar and then browse to the location of the map set. Instructions for opening the sample map set can be found here.
Create a New Map Set
If a default map set is not defined, the operator client will automatically create a new map set on startup. A new map set may also be created by seleting File/New from the main toolbar menu.
An icon may be added to the map by right clicking in the desired location and the selecting Add/New from the popup menu. The properties of that icon must be edited before the icon will be functional.
When connected to a TMC server, a map can be populated with icons automatically by right clicking on the map and then selecting the desired icon class under the Autopopulate menu.

The appearance and location of icons can be altered by right clicking an icon and selecing the desired option.
