Tickets

Issue management tool that is integrated with the Assembla application and continuously upgraded. Use it for development tasks, feature requests, bug reports, and release planning.

Subversion & Trac

Trac is a classic open source tool that provides ticketing and bug tracking, milestones, a wiki, and code browsing. This tool includes a Subversion repository, and is enhanced with Assembla team management and alerts.

Git & Trac

The Git distributed version control system, with a Trac tool for code browsing and changeset reporting on the Master branch.

Mercurial & Trac

The Mercurial (hg) distributed version control system. Trac is included for ticketing, code browsing, and Mercurial changeset reporting.

Milestones

Project coordination through milestones and tasks. Milestones are required for the Tickets tool.

Scrum

Stand-up meeting format where team members report "What I did", "What I will do", and "Obstacles / what I need". Stay in touch with written reports, or use it with Chat for team meetings.

Chat

A simple persistent chat. Any team member can drop in.

Time

Enter time worked in the space. Space owners can report on time worked for a space or a portfolio

Branding

Customize a portfolio with the Branding tool. Select a header and style that will appear on all spaces in the portfolio. Get a private landing page at <yourname>.assembla.com.

Staffing

Post jobs to the Assembla.com job list, monitor responses, and negotiate work.

Portfolio Manager

Make a list of Portfolio Member spaces, administer subscriptions, view activity, report on time, and apply branding to your portfolio.

Member

Add the portfolio Member tool to join a portfolio. The portfolio member tool provides a link to the portfolio parent space, and some reporting.

Images

Use the Image tool to collaborate on graphic design: share images, view them in large format, draw on them in the flash viewer, and comment on them.

Dashboard

A single-page view of important project information, with drag-and-drop customization.

External Subversion

Use your on-site subversion and integrate it with our tickets, scrum reports.

GitHub

Integrate Github with the Assembla Tickets tool and event reporting.

Monitor your project by sending events to external systems.

Support

The Support tool integrates with the Ticket Tool to provide a customer support ticketing system. It gives customers and users a tab where they can submit requests and see their own tickets. This is a free Beta release. Future versions of this tool may become premium tools with a small additional charge.

Server

The server tool links your workspace with a matching build server or staging server, so that you can easily trigger builds or continuous integration, and see the results of builds.
